Cookie Preferences

BrainStack Studio uses essential cookies for security and account access. Optional visitor and product analytics are off unless you explicitly allow them. This preference controls the bss_vid cookie, visitor-page ping, and in-browser analytics path, not required account, checkout, support, security, or service-reliability records.

Manage Preference

Current setting: Essential only (no choice recorded yet)

Your choice is recorded with Privacy Policy version 2026-07-17 and a timestamp. Essential-only mode removes the anonymous visitor cookie and prevents middleware from minting a new one. Account, checkout, support, security, and service-reliability records still run when needed.

What We Store

The anonymous visitor cookie is named bss_vid. It does not contain your email address, name, payment details, or company data.

Your choice stores bss_cookie_preference, the current policy version, and a recorded-at timestamp. Middleware only mints an anonymous visitor cookie after a current-version analytics opt-in.

When you run a free tool without signing in, we may set an essential cookie named bss_guest_run so your free runs are counted for you, not for everyone on your network. It holds a random ID, lasts up to one year, is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking, and no third party sets or reads it.

Auth, checkout, support, and security cookies may still be required for account and payment flows to work correctly.

Necessary account, transaction, support, and service-reliability records can still be created when you sign in, run a requested service, start checkout, manage billing, request support, or trigger a security-sensitive workflow.
